I have SharePoint 2013 on premise environment with Office 2016. The word is not showing the specific versions at the first time. After closing and opening the word document for second time the specific versions are displayed. <o:p></o:p>

Seems like there's a bug with Word 2016 and compare versions for files stored in SharePoint 2013 , doing this in Word 2010 had no issues so it seems to be 2016 related.
