You can modify the style of CREATESTRUCT in the function CMyEditView::PreCreateWindow(CREATESTRUCT& cs) like this:
BOOL bPreCreated = CEditView::PreCreateWindow(cs);
cs.style &= ~(WS_HSCROLL);
cs.style &= ~(WS_VSCROLL);
return bPreCreated;
