A burden of one's choice is not felt.

爱挑的担子不嫌重。

When doing things I love to do, I seldom feel tired or boring, and I'm willing to spend time on those things.

However, when doing things I don't like to do, or things that are imposed on me, I always feel exhausted or impatient even though those things are trival or easy to be completed.

That is just in accordance with the old saying: A burden of one's choice is not felt.

Life is not a plain sailing, there are too many things we don't love to do but we have to get them done, otherwise we can't get the promotion and improvements that can make us stronger.

Therefore, when facing pressures and obstacles, we can't expect that they would go away by themselves, on the controry, it would be better to adjust our attitudes, and take the

responsibilities actively, face the challenges bravely, then we will gradually adapt ourselves better so as to do our work well and grow up under pressures.

Well-timed silence has more eloquence than speech.

时机恰当的沉默比话语更有说服力。

From Martin Fraquhar Tupper.

Sometimes the best way to end a dispute may be to keep silence in the appropriate moment.

Try to calm down and think about the other's opinion.

In life, a lot of arguments can be solved simply by understanding the point of view of another.

Actually, I think it is better to dispute over some thoughts, methods, or plans, based on reasonable arguments, because we can find out the drawbacks of our own thoughts in the discussion, and we can get the inspirations to make them perfect.

What I oppose is the kind of disputes that are lack of reason, logic.

When getting involved in such disputes, maybe the winner is the one who has the loudest voice.
