ICE - STUN - TURN

我是对于Live COmmunication Server来说很新，我的客户在我们跳转到它的任何开发之前都要求我调查这个。

我们在NAT遍历中的主要问题..我读了AV边缘服务器文档，它说它只能处理STUN而不是TURN。

our main concern in NAT traversal.. I read the AV Edge Server doc and it says it can only handle STUN and not TURN.

Can soemoen confirm that MS Office Communication Server 2007 fully handles NAT traversal and this is not something that we shud worry.

我们的客户遍布世界各地的员工和客户。我们打算在英国设置带有外部连接器的enterpise版本服务器。我只是想确保我们的客户和用户可以轻松地与我们进行语音/音频和文本聊天，而无需安装除默认通信器客户端之外的任何内容。我们很高兴在通讯器中使用工具>选项来配置它以使其工作但是不能要求我们的客户完成任何其他特殊设置。

Our client has employees and custoemrs all over teh world. We intend to set up enterpise edition server in the UK with external connectors. i just wanted to make sure that our customers and users could easily do a voice/audio and text chat with us without installing anything other than default communicator client. we are happy to go to tools>options in communicator to configure it to make it work BUT cannot ask our customers for any other special setups at their end to be done.

Can someone confirm if communicator is the right product for us. I will be very surpiced if Microsoft has not handlled the NAT traversal issues for audio chatting.
