Office 365 Sharepoint协作与格式化问题

We logged a call with Office 365 Technical Support but they have advised to that formatting and font related issues are out of  Office365 support boundaries.

They advised us to raise a forum post on Technet.

We have two users that work from the same excel spreadsheets which they access via a mapped drive to sharepoint.

Both users access the documents on the desktop version of office

Both users are no longer able see each other working on the document and any formatting changes to fonts etc are not saved.
