Sharepoint 2013计算字段中的EDATE错误

Background:  I created a workflow to send notifications on the same date of each month between two known dates (close) and (cutover).  In SPD 2013, I used the add time to date function but adding one month really only adds 30 days and does not account for months with less or more days so had to find an alternate solution.

I resorted back to the SP 2013 list to create a new field to calculate the next notification date intending to run the workflow based off the calculated date.

When I use EDATE, I get an error.

My close date is set as Date and I have tried setting up the new calculated field first as date and then date & time but continue to get an error that will not allow me to even create the field.
