I have created a reusable workflow and associated it to a content type but the workflow is not firing.

I created a workflow using the sharepoint 2010 workflow platform and associated it to a content type.

I click on the content type and I see the workflow associated to the content type.

However, when I go to a list that is using this content type, and create a new item, the workflow doesn't run at all. (the workflow is set to manual start, and on "item created".
