I have a custom domain name setup with ourdomain.org in Azure AD and a Azure AD domain service running with ourdomain.org with a virtual network and a VM. I have a website hosted by another company that has an address https://ourdomain.org and when I try to go to the website from the VM, it tries to go to a local IP of the virtual network rather than going out to the internet for the website. How can I make the browser on the VM bypass the local IP and go to the website on the internent?

Just to confirm, the custom domain name you have a website configured for is the same DNS name you have setup for the VM?

If that is the case, I am not sure of a way to bypass it directly. Setting up a DNS name on a VM associates that name with the private IP address of the VM. So if you are inside the VM then it would use that mapping. You could of course go from google or bing to the website which would likely work as well.
