I am using Azure for my media files with a WordPress blog site. When I upload an image into my WordPress site, it uploads into the Azure blob storage container, but instead of one image, there are nine different sizes of the same image. Are there some possible default settings which I have overlooked?

this is actually not a setting of Azure storage, but of Wordpress. When you upload an image, Wordpress creates multiple sizes of that image by default (eg. thumbnail, medium, large, full size).

In other words, this is by-design of Wordpress.
