I have a simple SP Discussion Board and I need to create a workflow to send the original poster an email whenever someone replies to his/her post.

• I have created a workflow for the discussion and used "Send Notification". The recipient is set to "Parent Item Editor"
• In Workflow settings I set the workflow to trigger when the item is modified.

I have tried various combinations of the options above and cannot seem to get an email sent to the original poster.
