Jet用户级安全性

I was creating a Jet User-Level-Security following some instructions. I created an user name called ?student1? and what I don?t understand is why now every time I open a DB Access file it shows a Logon window asking me a Name and Password. I was never intended to create an account for me. I tried to delete it and it doesn?t allow me. My intention is to continue being the admin to create user accounts for a group of user and limit them with some permission. Is there a file that I can manipulate user accounts without login? or how can I be an admin again and be able to create and delete user or group accounts. I have MS Access 2007. If anyone can give a hint on this, It will be greatly appreciated.

It seems your database is now joined with new .mdw file that holds user, groups, permissions etc.
You need to find that file (.mdw) and open it using Log-on.
Inside you can add/change user accounts
To locate .mdw file you can put this in you immediat window (CTRL+G) in any module you have in your database and press Enter:
[HTML]DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdWorkgroupAdministrator[/HTML]
Now wizard will open showing you workgroup file currently joined to your database.
To create new .mdw file click Create (make sure to creat one user name with admin permissions)
To join to existing .mdw file click Join and locate the file
To clear all joined .mdw files click Join and then delete the current path (access will then automaticaly join your database to it''s default .mdw file)

As you''ve added a new user to your .Mdw file, it now has more than the simple default of Admin with no password and needs to ask you which you need.
Consider adding a password to the Admin account and using that when you want Admin access.
PS. I would read up on the subject before going further into it. It is not as straightforward as most people would like it to be. It can cause lots of problems for the unwary.
