bypass的意思解决办法

InternetOpen uses the proxy servers indicated by lpszProxyName and bypasses the proxy for any host names or IP addresses specified by lpszProxyBypass.
这个bypasses是绕过的意思吗？
如果是绕过，难道说代理可以绕过？能绕过还要代理做什么..

“建立会话用代理服务器表明由服务器名，旁路代理为任何主机名或知识产权地址由lpszproxybypass规定。”，所以bypasses 应该是旁路的意思吧
