i can publish vs2010 windows application in my local IIS. when i try to publish the application to remote site i get the error "unable to create website'IP+websitename'. http error (502) an invalid response was received from a gateway or proxy server".

Check the logs ( All the windows and IIS logs ). It will most likely tell you the reason. I highly doubt that it's a VS 2010 problem.
